Ramzo the Monkey (2010-01-22 20:56:55) Well, looking at the final product, it's actually a pretty simple comic. Strange then, that it took me all damn day to ink and color it. Seriously, it's almost 10pm and I've been working on this comic since 7am. How annoying. I drew it on Tuesday, and had planned to spend some of that night and some of Wednesday working on it digitally. That didn't happen though, because I suddenly discovered I was sick as all hell and actually slept through most of Tuesday night, all of Wednesday, and most of Thursday. Which is why it's now the 22nd, and the comic is making a joke about me not being aware that it's the 21st. Which I guess actually works in the jokes favor to a degree, but I still consider it unfortunate that the comic did not come out on the appropriate day. I'm also aware that missing updates because I supposedly didn't know I was supposed to be updating isn't much of an excuse. I'm aware. It's been a bad couple of weeks, it hasn't really been fun for me. But in annoyance I did end up playing a lot more WoW than I ever would expect to, and so I got a lot done in that game. But it didn't really put me into the creative mood. Which is mainly unfortunate for me because I was close to breaking my personal record for longest update streak in terms of getting out comics on an actual week by week basis. But hey, I worked my ass off for that Zombie story arc, so I consider it a fair trade. Just a shame that I have yet to get so much as 50 comics out in a single year. Which is why I'm only on comic 206 after five years of this. Guess one year I'm gonna have to come out with 100 comics to make up for the 50 that have been lost to the ether. Ha. Yeah. Like that'll happen.
